Conflict Materials

To our Valued Customer of Gibbs Interwire

Gibbs Interwire undertakes due diligence to attempt to determine if ‘conflict minerals’ are used in our products. Conflict minerals are described as Gold (Au), Tantalum (Ta), Tungsten (W) and Tin (Sn) that are sourced from the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries from mines controlled by non-governmental military groups.

We have canvassed our suppliers regarding the sourcing of the elements of material used in the products we purchase from them for resale. The conflict materials cited above are not a desired constituent of these products. To that end, the source of trace elements is impossible to detect. The vast amount of our product originates from recycled scrap with the source being the USA or Western Europe.

We will continue to query our existing supplier base, as well as any new mills that we encounter, to assure that materials that are potentially in violation of this directive are excluded from our supply chain.
